Review #105: Nerunerunerune – Ramune Flavored 「ねるねるねるね-ラムネ昧」

The first thought I had: sour, very very sour. The candies don’t make much of a difference, because I swallow away all the gunky part before I get to it. The candies are hard so I’m kind of eating them after the gunk dissolves.

The gunk is really powdery. I think I might not have added even water/stirred it enough. To be honest, if I just saw this, it wouldn’t look very tempting – kind of looks like shampoo, don’t you think?

So yeah, it’s really powdery and sour, but it still has a strong ramune taste. Which is something you can’t really describe to someone who hasn’t tried it before.

The candies have a sweet taste, but nothing really discernible. After about half-way through, the ramune gets kind of sickening. Because it’s really just powdered sugar and water.

Why didn’t mines turn out like this?

Nutritional Facts:

I bought this at the market for $2.48.

Buy Neru products at napaJapan around $2.50 or a set of five (this specific flavor) at rinkya($13.29).

It wasn’t that great tasting. The selling point is the making of it, and even that’s not that fun. More so because it was a bit pricey –
